Sister of the Moon

This series explores transformation and the quiet rhythms of becoming.

Each image emerged intuitively, in stillness, during meditations held across the moon’s different phases, so the work follows the cycles we move through: expansion and retreat, fullness and release, endings and beginnings.

The women who appear are not portraits.

They are expressions of states of being: strength, vulnerability, sensuality, solitude, connection and renewal.

The works invite the viewer to slow down, look inward, and dwell in the quiet space between one phase and the next.

Threshold 2026 | Acrylic on Canvas 72 × 48 inches ₹1,75,000 Standing before a luminous, crystalline reflection, the figure occupies the space between the known and the possible. The mirror becomes a threshold, suggesting a self beyond familiar definitions and the uncertain promise of another way of being. Must we know who we are becoming before we take the next step? Liberation 2026 | Acrylic on Canvas 72 × 48 inches ₹1,75,000 As the figure moves forward, fragments disperse into the landscape. What once defined her begins to fall away, transforming release into movement. Liberation emerges not through escape, but through a loosening of the past’s hold on the present. What are we carrying that we no longer need? View details and price Enquire about this work
Non-Duality 2026 | Acrylic on Canvas 48 × 30 inches ₹85,000 Two figures meet across the boundary of form, their touch suggesting a connection that precedes distinction. The work considers the possibility that separation is only one way of seeing, and that beneath apparent opposites lies an underlying unity. How separate are we from one another and ourselves? Dissolution 2026 | Acrylic on Canvas 48 × 30 inches ₹85,000 The figure fragments into the surrounding landscape, her boundaries gradually dispersing. Identity loosens its hold, opening a space between what is relinquished and what has yet to emerge. Are we losing ourselves or making room for something new? Recognition 2026 | Acrylic on Canvas 48 × 30 inches ₹85,000 Before a luminous mirror, the familiar gives way to another way of seeing. Recognition arrives not as the discovery of something new, but as the revelation of something long obscured beneath the surface of identity. Are we discovering ourselves or remembering something already there? View details and price Enquire about this work
What Remains 2026 | Acrylic on Canvas 48 × 30 inches ₹85,000 A solitary mirror stands in the desert, holding the moon within its depths. Stripped of human presence, the work asks what endures beyond the identities, roles and narratives through which we define ourselves. Who are we beyond our identities? Home 2026 | Acrylic on Canvas 48 × 30 inches ₹85,000 A luminous centre draws the figure inward, towards a place beyond geography or possession. Home becomes an inner landscape—a sense of belonging that emerges when the search outside oneself begins to fall silent. Where does a sense of belonging truly begin? Surrender 2026 | Acrylic on Canvas 48 × 30 inches ₹85,000 Beneath the vastness of the moon, the figure rests in stillness. The impulse to control gives way to acceptance, and striving yields to presence. Surrender becomes not an act of defeat, but a quiet release into the unknown. What happens when we stop trying to control? View details and price Enquire about this work
